Abstract
The human resources (HR) industry is undergoing a transformation, in the digital age. HR 5.0 represents an approach to HR that uses technology, data, and analytics to drive a more focused and adaptable workforce that puts people first. HR 5.0 seeks to improve employee satisfaction, engagement, and productivity by fostering a culture of creativity, education, and teamwork. However, the implementation of HR 5.0 has some limitations and possibilities. This chapter explores the issues and developments HR professionals face as they embrace HR 5.0 including the impact of intelligence (AI) and automation on future performance and skill development Shift from traditional management systems to connected teams The need for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) A flexible and diverse foster workforce; the strategic role of HR as a driver of change in digital transformation efforts; and ethical considerations in the use of data, for HR decision-making purposes. Additionally, she provides practical advice and tips for HR leaders to succeed in today’s digital environment.
