6.8 CICS Short on Storage (SOS)
You can use IBM Tivoli OMEGAMON XE for CICS on z/OS in quite a few
common CICS situations. Our first scenario shows the screen reporting an SOS
(short on storage) condition with EDSA. In our CICS log we see this message:
DFHSM0133 SCSCBUD1 CICS is under stress (short on storage above 16MB).
Our OMEGAMON for CICS shows the condition in the storage workspace or
using a predefined situation. Figure 6-41 depicts the default DSA display
showing the condition.

I wanted to learn C and C++, but it didn't click for me until I picked up an O'Reilly book. When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.

I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.
