Chapter 5: How Do I Create Code?
Apps are coded using a mix of C and Objective-C code. Some features in iOS use C instead of Objective-C. Although app developers don’t need to be experts in C development, a basic working knowledge is essential. This chapter introduces the fundamentals of C and demonstrates a few of them in a very simple C application. It also introduces the key features of code editing and explains how to create debugging information and display it in Xcode’s Debug window.
