I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Tethering
Tethering means using your iPhone 3G or 3GS as a glorified Internet antenna, so that your laptop can get online. (The laptop connects to the phone either with a USB cable or over wireless Bluetooth.) It's an additional monthly fee.
AT&T plans to offer a tethering plan for the iPhone…someday. When that great day arrives, you'll find a free downloadable appendix on the subject on this book's "Missing CD" page (www.missingmanuals.com).
