Have integrity.
Integrity is a little harder to teach than most lessons we learned from our fathers. We use the term to refer to a firm adherence to a code of moral values. Integrity is about honesty, truthfulness, incorruptibility, honor, and reliability—basically, you know it when you see it. Fathers want to instill a sense of integrity in their children; it is a basic building block of character, respect, and success in life. One of the most important goals for any father is to teach his children how to develop integrity.
