I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Do the right things.
It is important to do things right, but it is also important to do the right things. No matter how well or how effectively you do something, if you aren’t doing the right thing, you aren’t really accomplishing anything. Dads are particularly skilled at spotting the difference between these two concepts. They don’t want to see their children work hard at something only to become frustrated and discouraged because they were working on the wrong things. Learning how to make good decisions about where we put our efforts during our lifetime is an important lesson. However, convincing anyone that they are going down the wrong path in life is a challenge—even for dads.
