Stick to your convictions.
Dads teach their children to stand up for what they believe in. They tell us that if we are totally committed to something, we shouldn’t let anyone or anything discourage us. Some things require us to stand our ground, despite pressures to change our position—they’re that important.
Our commitments and our values are often challenged as we go through life. Sometimes we must make a decision that goes against our convictions or sense of right and wrong; these are the times when we need to remember our dad’s sage advice about standing up for what we believe in.
