So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

modifies the given group, changing its name or group ID.
# groupmod -n newname friends
groupmod does not affect
any files owned by this group: it simply changes the ID or name in
the system’s records. Be careful when changing the ID, or these
files will have group ownership by a nonexistent group.
