I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

cdparanoia [options]span[outfile]
The cdparanoia command
reads (rips) audio data from a CD and stores it in WAV files (or
other formats: see the manpage). Common uses are:
$ cdparanoiaNRip track
Nto a file.-
$ cdparanoia -B Rip all tracks on the CD into separate files.
-
$ cdparanoia -B 2-4 Rip tracks 2, 3, and 4 into separate files.
-
$ cdparanoia 2-4 Rip tracks 2, 3, and 4 into a single file.
If you have difficulty accessing your drive, try running
cdparanoia -Qvs (“search for
CD-ROM drives verbosely”) and look for clues.
