17.2.1 Determining fully qualified host names and TCP/IP addresses
Follow these steps:
1.You can determine the machine's fully qualified host name and TCP/IP
address by entering the following DOS command:
ipconfig /all
2.In Windows NT 4.0, the value displayed as “Host Name” is the machine's fully
qualified name. In Windows 2000, you must append the following values to
get the machine's fully qualified name: “Host Name” + “.” + “Connection
