18.1 Standard reports

LearningSpace provides a variety of report formats in the administrator and

student interfaces. When a user runs a report, LearningSpace retrieves the

appropriate data stored in the relational database. Report generation and

viewing is permission-dependent. For example, instructors may have permission

to generate reports to track the progress of students in their courses only, while

students have, at most, permission to generate reports on their own progress. By

default, an administrator has permission to generate all types of reports involving

all the users in the system.
