18.4 Generating custom reports

LearningSpace provides standard reports. However, there occasionally is a need

for additional reports that display information in a specific order or information not

provided in the existing reports. To address this need, LearningSpace supports

custom reports. Custom reports can be created by using various tools, such as

Seagate Crystal Reports or Microsoft Active Server Pages (ASPs). Usually, the

developer chooses the type of report based on the database used and the

difficulty in retrieving information from the database.
