If the Requires availability date option is checked for a course, you can set the
date available fields during enrollment (see Figure 16-7).

16.2 Auto-enrollment using user profiles
Auto-enrollment provides the ability to enroll several users into several courses
in one step. When a user is assigned a profile, that user is automatically enrolled
in the courses set to be auto-enrolled.
How to assign a profile to a user is described in 14.1, “User profiles - the tool for
creating groups” on page 186.
