For the last few years, I’ve been totally obsessed

with moiré patterns. If you look for them, you’ll

start to see them everywhere too.

Moiré is the interference pattern that happens

when two repeating patterns are superimposed

on each other. I’ve seen tons of unexpected moiré

patterns, but the most common ones you’ll find

are parallel lines, grids, or dot patterns. In order

to achieve the moiré effect, the patterns have

to be regularly spaced and offset at an angle
