I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
A NOTE ON THE TYPE
The text of Making Work Visible was set in Chaparral Pro and DIN 2014.
Chaparral Pro was created by the legendary and award winning type designer Carol Twombly. Released in 1997, Chaparral was Twombly’s last typeface before retiring. It combines the legibility of slab serif designs popularized in the 19th century with the grace of 16th-century roman book lettering. A part of the Adobe Originals family of typefaces, Chaparral has varying letter proportions with thick and thin strokes, creating a friendly appearance and was used in the body text to give a lovely visual finish to the illustrations throughout the book.
DIN 2014 is a contemporary version of the well-known DIN typeface. DIN stands for Deutsches Institut für Normung ...
