A Labaton Sucharow survey showed that 25% of those surveyed said that they would do something illegal or unethical to get ahead and 16% would commit a crime if they could get away with it.2 Martin Wheatley, when he was CEO at the UK FCA, said ‘more than 50% of financial services executives still insist that ‘ethical flexibility’ is important for career progression’3
