STAKEHOLDERS

Stakeholders are those groups without whose support the organisation would cease to exist (see Table 15.1). The stakeholders are not just those with whom you deal directly. They include others, such as regulators and opinion formers, who effectively have in their hands your licence to operate. They not only influence your direct stakeholders but also those who may potentially become directly involved with you and, of course, they influence each other.
