Determining Page Layout and Control Positioning

An important consideration when building your web pages is deciding how controls are placed on a page. This is a big topic that continues to evolve. Many websites rely on tables of information for their layout. Each item on the page is in a table of columns and rows. Other sites place items on a page such that they do not move. If items overlap (such as when font sizes are increased), they show as overlap. There are others that build a page with no real layout at all at design time.
