I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Editor plugins
Another important type of plugin to consider is text editor plugins. The text editor built into Moodle is called Atto (which replaced the earlier TinyMCE editor) and this is also extensible through installable plugins. Take a look in the Moodle plugin directory for supported Atto plugins, for example, https://moodle.org/plugins/browse.php?list=category&id=53.
For example, two very common requirements for secondary teaching are the ability to edit and copy chemical and mathematical symbols into the Moodle text editor.
