I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Creating a New Skin
In previous chapters, we have concerned ourselves with functionality. Now it is time to focus on the user experience and how this is affected by aesthetics. The look of a learning platform and "the effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction with which users can achieve specified learning (or learning related) goals in a particular environment" are "intrinsically linked", according to Cooper, Colwell, and Jelfs in their paper, Embedding accessibility and usability.
