I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Taking things further
Note that we are re-using the block_courses_available_json() function to obtain course completion data, which means there is no reason why we shouldn't display a completion chart on the Course information page. Can you re-code overview.php to display a doughnut chart using Chart.js?
Can you think of a way of adding other information to the Course information page that would encourage a learner to start or continue a course? For example, badges are a great way of showing progress--see https://docs.moodle.org/31/en/Badges. It might be worth taking a little time to explore displaying course badges on the Course information page.
