I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Selecting resources and activities for a knowledge-based Moodle online community
The following are the items to include if you want to configure Moodle so that it is ideal for individuals who have come together to gain knowledge on a specific topic or problem:
- Resources: Be sure to include multiple types of files such as documents, videos, audio files, and presentations
- Activities: Include a Quiz and other such activities that allow individuals to test their knowledge
- Communication-focused activities: Set up a discussion forum to enable community members to post their thoughts and respond to each other
