When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
A couple of years ago I was asked to deliver a paper on Change Management at a business symposium, and as I was speaking in the afternoon I decided to listen in on earlier speakers, so I could engage with any emerging themes. That decision was such a game changer for me as one of those speakers turned out to be David Potter.
I have been an advocate and practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) for over 20 years but, to be honest, I find a great deal of published work to be difficult to apply into everyday work-life. When I heard David speak, he delivered an enthralling presentation which was immediately accessible, practical, and inspirational.
