I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
18 Looking Good
You must look as attractive as possible so pay attention to how you look. This is not vanity, it’s part of the tool box of an anchor. Your face is on television after all. If you were on radio, it wouldn’t be important.
Make Up!
In television, the good news is that the lighting will make sure you are seen well. The bad news is there are a lot of very hot lights, which washes out both women and men’s skin. So almost everyone on camera will need something to get their skin tone back to the way it should look. In other words, make-up for television is needed to make people look normal. There will also be times when you will want more than normal, the way you do when making up for a date.
