You may be interested in one or two of these in your career. But I repeat: they are all worth reading because you will learn things that are good for all reporters to know and may contain hidden gems for you. Moreover, you never know: most beat reporters started as general assignment reporters. You might make that move one day. All of the people I’ve spoken to for these chapters are seasoned reporters, both smart and wise. You will learn something from them, even from legal! So read on.
