I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
9 Legal Reporting
The legal beat is like the medical beat in one way, and this is not a joke about malpractice suits. You do need some special knowledge or training to get to the top. In the case of legal reporting, there seems to me to be no shortage of qualified candidates. I don’t know what it is about the law business, but I get more students from that profession wanting to switch careers and go into television than from any other business. Usually, they make terrific students in my class.
