Creating a Data Definition

A BI Publisher Data Definition is the required link between the mechanism that generates XML data and the template into which we wish to merge the XML data. We can create a Data Definition in a few simple steps:

Log on to Oracle Applications
Select the XML Publisher Administrator responsibility
Select the Data Definitions menu option

How to do it...

To create a data definition, perform the following:

Log in to Oracle with the XML Publisher Administrator responsibility.
Click on the Data Definitions link as shown in the following screenshot:
Navigate to the Data Definitions tab and click the Create Data Definition button as shown ...
