So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Although Lightroom can remove small imperfections such as dust spots and other distracting elements using the Spot Removal tool, Photoshop has additional tools and technologies better suited for more complex retouching and image manipulation. For example, the Spot Healing Brush in Photoshop can create texture and blend colors with potentially better results than are currently possible in Lightroom. Retouching imperfections is the first task that I do when I open my photo in Photoshop.
My tools of choice for removing imperfections are the Spot Healing Brush, Healing Brush, Patch, Content-Aware Move, and Clone Stamp tools. When ...
