So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Whew! That was a long project, but it was worth it. You now have a fully functional, audio-generating RSS reading application that can be tailored to whatever well-formed RSS feeds you want to parse. And because you’re storing past feed results in a database, only new articles since the last time you ran the pispeak.py script will be compiled into a new MP3 file for listening at home, work, or on the go.
Improvements are guaranteed with any software endeavor, and this project is no different.
