Endpoint security generally refers to a well‐described method for protecting an organization's data and networks that are accessed by endusers and connected devices. Laptops and desktops are not the only devices that are considered to be endpoints; smartphones and other wireless devices also have network access that becomes a target and entry point for security threats.
