Project Scheduling
In the first three editions of this book, I demonstrated how to do network computations in the main body of the book. However, with the ready availability of cost-effective scheduling software, almost nobody does such calculations manually anymore. I do believe that you should understand how they are done, or else you won’t understand what the software is telling you. For that reason, beginning with the fourth edition of the book, I moved scheduling computations to an appendix, which is where it remains in this edition.
