Python contains a large number of built-in functions, which have been introduced at various points in the book for didactic reasons. Therefore, we haven’t provided any list of all built-in functions in the book so far. Table A.3 lists all built-in functions, along with a short description and a note about where in the book the function is explained in detail. Note that the functions in this table are specified without parameter signatures.
