I wanted to learn C and C++, but it didn't click for me until I picked up an O'Reilly book. When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.

I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 11Recording Concertos
This chapter addresses placement of the soloist on stage and visual communication between the soloist and conductor, and also includes a general discussion of balance between soloist and orchestra. In this variation of orchestra recording, the conductor becomes the accompanist (though not all conductors would agree). In some cases, there may be political issues that arise during the recording of a concerto; specifically, differences of opinion between conductor and soloist regarding balance, tempo and overall musical interpretation. The recording team, and more specifically the producer, will need to be prepared to delicately navigate this landscape.
