These two chamber music groups are rather similar in terms of stage setup and the necessary approach to recording. Starting microphone positions can be compared to the suggested string quartet setup: refer to Figs. A.4, A.5 and A.6 in the Quick Start Guides (Appendix).
The woodwind quintet is a chamber music group made up of five completely different instruments, each having their own specific timbre and diffraction pattern.
