Although this chapter covers the most-needed DNS information, a complete discussion of DNS could easily fill a large book. Here are some further sources of DNS documentation:
/usr/share/doc/bind-8.2.2_P5/—Note that the exact directory name might be different, depending on your Red Hat distribution. This directory contains CHANGES, INSTALL, TODO, and Version. It also contains directories bog/, html/, misc/, notes/, rfc/, and tmac/. The html/ and rfc/ directories are especially interesting.
