How it works...
The commands shown in the previous section are quite self-explanatory. One thing you should know is that, while the slots are being resharded from node to node, writing and reading requests to the Cluster won't be affected.
Due to the space limitations in this book, we didn't introduce slot commands such as CLUSTER ADDSLOTS, CLUSTER DELSLOTS, or CLUSTER SETSLOT. Actually, understanding how these commands work is very helpful when it comes to knowing how a Cluster performs slot resharding operations without interfering with request handling.
