So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Use cases were introduced by Ivar Jacobson and first presented in book form by Jacobson et al. (1992). RUP is largely based on Jacobson's Unified Process (1999). Kruchten (1999) is another treatment of RUP that concentrates more on the process than the notations.
