Chapter 7. Specification Modelling

After modelling the business and its existing and required services, the next step is to home in on the specification of those services and the components that will implement them. We assume also that the architecture has been defined, at least in outline.

This chapter defines an approach to system specification based on Catalysis (D'souza and Wills, 1999) and various extensions and improvements made to it over the years by my colleagues and I at Trireme International Limited, and especially by Derek Andrews: Catalysis II.
