I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

The UML standard is discussed in detail by Fowler (2003) and Graham (2001).
Havey (2005) describes several of the standards mentioned in this chapter and a few more besides, although the latter are probably less important in today's environment. Ehn (2004, 2005) provides detailed discussion of the various web services standards.
Graham (2006) discusses standards in the context of business rules management systems.
