I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Installing dependencies on Windows
On Windows, run the following command in a MSYS2 shell:
pacman -S mingw-w64-libmad
Think, click the link to download the zip file from this page: https://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/PulseAudio/Ports/Windows/Support/ (When the book was written, the link for the current version was http://bosmans.ch/pulseaudio/pulseaudio-1.1.zip). Then, follow the same instructions as the ones from Chapter 2, Starting with SDL, to use the library from Rust.
