Maturity Models If the audited organization uses maturity model,

auditors can use maturity models as a basis for assessing an organiza-

tion’s project management and/or systems development processes.

Auditors should view the use of maturity models by the organiza-

tion as a very positive step in terms of improving the organization’s IT
