It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

障害を起こしたサービスも、例えば利用できなくなっていたのは持っていた複数のレプリカの一部だけだったということもあるので、サービスの障害の期間に注目するべきではありません。あるいは負荷が一定ではなく、1日や1週間の中で負荷が変動するサービスの障害の期間にも注目すべきではありません。それよりも、サービスが利用できなかったことを示すメトリクスの集計値（例えば「全処理中のX%が失敗」）を利用するほうが有益です。
