The Art of Building a Garden City

he Art of Building a Garden City is

the authors’ overview of the Town

and Country Planning Association

(TCPA)’s campaign for a new generation of

garden cities. This is the latest expression

of over a century of the TCPA’s thinking,

learning and exploration of practical

solutions to creating an environmentally

resilient and socially just society. We are

indebted to the garden city pioneers

and former TCPA teams who continue to

provide us with a mixture of inspiration and

a sense of responsibility!
