I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
14 Working with Video
The ability to incorporate video tracks into your Procreate Dreams projects is a huge asset, one that led a lot of early adopters to declare the app was “After Effects for the iPad.” It isn’t. Procreate Dreams is simpler and more intuitive to learn for starters. And, once you learn what you can do with video in the app, more creative paths open up.
For example, all the transformations and filters work with a video track. This means you can:
- • Scale it
- • Squash and stretch it
- • Rotate, distort, and warp it
- • Convert it to black and white (desaturate it)
- • Add noise, blurs, and more
- • Make cuts and rough edits
