I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
7 Animation Modes Part 1: Frame by Frame
In Procreate Dreams, you can manipulate motion in three ways, and I use all of them in virtually every video I create. They each have different purposes, and I find mixing forms of animation to be more pleasing on a whole than sticking to one or the other. The three methods are:
- • Frame by frame: Create a sequence of drawings that evolve; typically done with Flipbook in Draw & Paint mode
- • Keyframing: Specify crucial movements, transformations, and effects to occur at precise moments on the Timeline
- • Performing mode: Create keyframes in real time by recording stylus movements or gestures; useful for realistic flowing things like a bird soaring or faster movements that would require setting a lot ...
