7. USING DOUBLE AND MULTIPLE EXPOSURES FOR ACTION SCENES
AS AN EVENT photographer, I often shoot electronic dance music shows where it’s more important to capture the stage lighting and the audience than the actual performance. The lighting at these shows changes really fast and a single frame doesn’t quite capture the feel of the event. I often use multiple exposures to capture several lights in the same scene (Figure 7.1).
It is also fun to create double exposures of the crowd because they show the motion, excitement, and action of the even. For Figure 7.2 I combined two exposures in-camera to give the scene a little more pop and excitement. ...
