I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
10. HDR BASICS
BEFORE WE CAN start creating HDR images we really need to take a step back and discuss what dynamic range is and why we need multiple images to create high dynamic range photos.
The dynamic range of an image is the range of light intensities between the brightest and darkest areas of the image. When we look at a scene, our eyes and brain work together to allow us to see detail in both the brightest and darkest areas at what seems to be the same time. This isn’t exactly true; our eyes look around the scene and as we look at the bright areas our pupils contract to let in less light, and then as we look at the darker areas they expand ...
