It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
18. CREATING AN HDR IMAGE IN PHOTOSHOP CC AND ADOBE CAMERA RAW
THERE ARE MANY different HDR software options available for photographers. With the latest versions of Photoshop, you can create and edit 32-bit HDR images in Photoshop and in Adobe Camera Raw (ACR). To create an HDR image in Photoshop choose [File > Automate > Merge to HDR Pro]. This opens a dialog box that allows you to pick the files to use for the HDR image (Figure 18.1). Once the files are selected, check the box at the bottom where it says Attempt to Automatically Align Source Images.
