WHEN I FIRST started creating time-lapse movies, there was no option to have the camera create the final file in the camera. When I got my Nikon D4, I was suddenly able to shoot a time-lapse and have the camera create the final movie right then and there. This advance in technology made it possible to shoot a time-lapse and immediately see the results right on the camera.
