So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
24. HOW MANY EXPOSURES DO YOU NEED?
YOU CAN CREATE a panoramic image from as few as two images, or you can use many more. The actual number of frames you need depends on two factors: the size of the subject you’re photographing and the orientation of the exposures used.
The perfect number of exposures is when there are enough to create a panorama in the detail that you want. I know that sounds vague, but every photographer has different needs. If you are planning on making a very big print of the panorama you will need a lot of images to increase the resolution of the final image.
